i woke him up at 630am this morning, was taken aback by his grunts and relucteness to wake up.. soon at 645 he's fully awake he wailed : " mummy! hurry!!!! im going to be late for school !!!!" at that moment i thought : " heng ah.. i thought he was gonna be grouchy ltr on, so now he so enthusiastic means he's even readier than i am!" .. so he drank only half bottle of his milk got changed and wore his sandals all ready to set off..
we reached his school at 735am.. signed in, greeted by the teachers and Xav was introduced as Xavier from the K1 class.. n when ppl mentioned his name he'll go : " Yes!" with his hands raised .. after the usual routine of temperature taking checking of his mouth hands feets he's all ready to go. he greeted Mr Wee & i byebye and said : " i go in first ok, at night u all come n fetch me" .. he hurriedly followed one of the teachers in after 2big hugs from us.
seriously i was so happy that he's soooo enthusiatic about his new sch, this anxiety made me slpt only for 3hours last night.. i kept thinking if i should or not accompany him to school. i slpt n woke without a definate answer. but after he gave me a big hug and walked in happily. i left. Xavier is the kinda boy whereby you teach him from day 1 its left to right he wont go right to left. i don't know if it applies for the school but i didn;t accompany him on his first day, abit 可惜 cos i wont get to see how the school operate.
went to chongpang for breakfast with mr wee. than headed back hm. mr wee headed for wrk at 9.. im all alone at hm, nua-ing.. 10+ bth i called up the sch n checked on Xav.. teacher said he doing very well , adapting n getting along well with his teachers n friends.. when i asked if he did cry teacher said only eyes red when the toddler class went into the shower some outside screaming n crying so somehow he was affected, other than that all is well with him.
happily i went to do the housework than i set off at 1130 and prepared to visit him, i followed the curriculum sheet given 12pm lunch, but for K1 is 1230 lunch. his form teacher spoke to me b4 i set off to wait for the time to pass downstairs, she said he's doing very well blahblah than she ask me to be prepared when i go in later as he might cry when he see me but its normal. so i headed to petshop chitchat with jewl n rachel..
1235 i rushed up went into his class n when he saw me he was like grinning man!! =D all the teeth can be seen! muahahaha with all the rice inside =x he had rice potatos carrots n some meat with soup, after food ate a slice of pear. he was happy super happy i guess esp the moment he saw me, he kept twirling his fingers round n round n im so proud of him he didn't cry , he only gave me a big hug. than awhile he ate his classmates greeted me n talked to me, i realized Xavier cant converse as well as they could! his Chinese needs more brushing up too! esp the strokes n all.
after lunch n fruits, he's strolled outside the class n placed the utensils into a pail cleaned his mouth and was told to brush his teeth. goondu him took his brush n mug out placed it on the shelf n forgot about it, went to his bag n rummaged thru the whole bag till his teacher came n asked him what he needed. LOL. whn his teacher pointed out to him he saw his stuffs and i guess he was embarassed cos he thanked his teacher so softly. heee~ i tailed behind him into the toilet n stood with his teacher while he removed his stuffs n prepared to brush his teeth, abit kalang kabok but im sure he'll get use to this procedure. 毕竟at hm he'll brush his own teeth in the shower but without mirror, in sch he has a super wide mirror for him to grin into it! back into the class, kept his brushes n mugs, he followed what his friend did, took out his sleeping bag ( a bag consisting his pillow bolster n blanket) , made his own bed, asked teacher where to keep his sleeping bag n laid down on his bed quickly. he kept chasing me away told me :" mummy, u go home~~ i going to sleep with my friends, shh ok?" .. i kissed him and left.
IM SO HAPPY FOR HIM!!!
加油哦宝贝！hehehe, u may stumble n find it hard to keep up with your friends n the new environment n daily routine will diff from what u always do, keep up the good work ! you can do it Xav!
super duper happy.. back hm at 2+ bathed cookie cleaned up the whole house except my room.. too many stuffs to pack. nw ive cooled down after mopping the whole house im gonna bathe n pick him up soon. in future 530 dismiss ill be able to reach his sch ard 6 so i dont wana reach too early jus in case he sense timing y diff again. hehehe. im a real spidey mummy aint i?
